Setting Sail, and Looking Back…

When I was a kid, my family took the adventure of a lifetime – selling our house, quitting jobs, and leaving the coast of Maine aboard our 1978 O’Day 32 “Legacy.”

Forty years later, I find myself thoroughly back on the water, and embarking on a grand adventure of this lifetime: Following in our wake as I set sail to Chase a Legacy.

Getting Selkie, and myself, ready for departing August of 2026 has been a lot of work, and a lot of adventure. Come along from the first delivery home, to the major quality of life improvements, triumphs and mistakes of the first three years aboard.
